You can usually plan for the really exciting parts, so save those for when you can sit in front of your PS4 and you won't miss a thing. Sure, it's not a stellar experience, but if you just have some grinding to do, it gets the job done. I actually recommend playing P5 via remote play. The story is still there and it's pretty engrossing from the onset. Aside from some slight changes to gameplay and a dumbed down navigation system, it's pretty much your typical Persona game.Īs others have said, it's not the best version of the game, but I'm watching animations online and I'm good with it. I was worried I'd have a difficult time getting over aged graphics, but I've found the art to be quite charming. P4G was my first Persona game and after beating P5 about a year ago (I actually took a lengthy break in the middle of P5 just because it's a long game and I needed some distance to play something else), I feel ready to dive back into another Persona game. Sure I could just not use 'direct commands' and play p3 normally letting the AI contol my part My one complaint is that I feel p3p was not re-balanced for 'direct commands', I played on normal, and a lot of the fights felt way to easy compared to p4/p5. (DON'T Play this first!!) changes some story moments, and social links 'The answer' is also missing, but imo, it's better to just watch that on youtube, rather than playing.Ī new playable female Main character is added. The anime sequences removed, and the over-world replaced with static image.Īll talking is done VN style, so no 3d models in the background, just pics, with text and audio. That effects more than just the overall plot, but the world, setting, characters, etc.Įach of those three games is fantastic in their own way, however, even the way they're written and paced can feel very different.įor example it's a bit weird going from p4's group of BFF's to P3's cast that feel like 'work colleagues' for most of the game.Īs for the Portable version of Persona 3, it's pretty much a stripped down port of p3 fes, but with (the PS3 version as some game-breaking bugs)īut keep in mind Persona 3, 4 and 5 have fairly drastically different tones. If you want to play P3 on the go, or don't have a ps2, p3p is great! Modding Vitas can be dangerous and the moderators at /r/Vita are not responsible for bricked or broken consoles.
